When you submit information on any of our contact forms, discussion links, or other links, we will collect the following:

Other Identifying Information:  IP address, social media usernames, passwords, and other security information and access

Financial Information:  credit card or debit card information (The full details of your credit card or debit card is not stored on this site).

Demographic Information:  Gender, age, grade level, school information, financial party’s information to include gender, age, occupation, and contact information

**Part of the intake process requires Tutors Proof to gather information about the tutee.  If the tutee is under 18 years of age at the time of the intake process, any information provided about the tutee must be provided by the financial party who is older than 18 years of age.** 

Internet or Other Electronic Activity:  Your browsing and click history which includes how you navigate this site and which internal and external links you click on for this site

Commercial Information:  Products and/or services you have purchased or viewed on this site.

Audio and Visual information:  Your videos and photos you have shared with the site

**When uploading any videos or photos, please be mindful to take off the location indicator as someone viewing the site could obtain pertinent information about you from your location indicator.**

 This site may also draw inferences from the information collected based on how you interact with the site.   

Comments

When visitors and/or subscribers leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.  You data will be shared with the parent company, A to Z Teaching, LLC.  We may share information to third party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who conduct work on our behalf.  If this company is sold to another individual or company, then we may share your information.  We will share information about users to fulfill any and all legal proceedings we are mandated to respond to concerning our users. 

Analytics

We use third-party analytical applications to track users use of our site to better support our users, advertising, and internet visibility.  Google also uses various websites to track analytics and data about users to this site.  You can visit Google’s Safety Center and Google’s Ad Settings and follow Google’s personalized ad opt-out instructions.  If a user opt out of Google’s advertising analytics, it will not affect how the user interacts with this site.        

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
